A Sensational Diwali Gift From INFOSYS!

Diwali is a festival of lights and gifts. You’d have to accept that certain gifts make this festival, a festival to remember, these gifts are timeless, like your first bike or keys to your own house. You’d cherish them for years to come.

This Diwali, I received one such gift from Infosys. It was not a gift box of goodies but even better- They published a story with me in it on Infosys.com.

Let’s take it from the top of how it actually happened-

Infosys has 3.3 lakh employees and a global presence. A few days ago they launched an employee stories marketing campaign. Few of the high-performing employees were requested to share their stories. I was one of the fortunate ones to have been nominated. I felt a sense of tremendous gratitude that amongst 3.3 lakh employees, I was one of the few who were selected.

We had a session where my thoughts on the subject – CHANGE, CHALLENGE, CHANCE, AND SEEKING POTENTIAL were recorded along with our MC – Sundaram, my fellow participants – Mrinmayee and Bhanvi.

This blog piece talks about the unique stories of 3 Infosys employees, who despite their personal challenges, thrived as professionals. We had a lot of fun and learning during our session.

While I was enjoying my Diwali vacation, I got an email from our marketing team that the campaign had gone live on Infosys.com. It was such a proud moment for me that my personal struggle story and victory over challenges have been selected to be shared with the world on the Infosys.com platform.

I am forever grateful to my family who are always there with me, every step of the way. This timeless gift gives me immense pleasure and a sense of responsibility. Pleasure in the sense that my name will always be there on the Infosys.com site and the responsibility towards inspiring others who are struggling with similar challenges to ensure they fulfill their potential.
